Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Brainbaby Bilişim Anonim Şirketi ("Lifepack", "we", "us"), a company registered in Türkiye under number MERSIS 000018717338581 (tax number 1871733858, Çankaya Tax Office), whose registered office is Gaziosmanpaşa Mahallesi, İran Caddesi No: 55/9, Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye.
They govern your use of the Lifepack mobile application, the Lifepack website at lifepack.io, and any related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. The most important thing on this page
Lifepack is a health and wellness application. It is not a doctor, it does not practise medicine, and nothing it produces is a diagnosis.
Lifepack provides general wellness information, educational content, and software tools that help you organise information about your own health. It also provides a platform through which you may choose to consult independent, separately regulated healthcare professionals.
Please read Sections 2, 3 and 4 carefully. They describe the limits of what this Service can do and, just as importantly, what it cannot.
2. What Lifepack is, and what it is not
2.1 It is not a medical device or a diagnostic tool
The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a medical device, and it has not been evaluated, cleared, approved or certified as one by any regulator, including the United States Food and Drug Administration, the United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, or any equivalent authority in any other territory.
2.2 It cannot know what is wrong with you
This is a statement of fact about the technology, not a formality.
Features of the Service — including the conversational assistant known as Sage, the symptom triage flow, the health score, the risk assessment, the nutrition and food analysis tools, and any severity grading or specialty suggestion — produce estimates, general information, and possibilities. They do so from limited inputs: what you choose to type, what you choose to enter in your profile, and what a photograph happens to show.
They do not and cannot:
- examine you;
- take a history the way a clinician would;
- order or interpret tests, imaging or laboratory work;
- observe signs that are not visible in the information you provide;
- know anything you have not told them, or anything you have told them incorrectly or incompletely;
- account for your full medical history, medications, or circumstances unless those have been entered accurately and kept current;
- rule anything out.
A suggestion from Lifepack that a symptom is likely benign is not an assurance that it is benign. An absence of any warning is not an assurance that nothing is wrong. Serious conditions can present with mild, vague, atypical or absent symptoms, and can present in ways no software can detect.
2.3 Artificial intelligence: specific limitations
Parts of the Service use large language models and other automated systems. These systems:
- generate text by statistical prediction, not by clinical reasoning;
- can produce output that is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, internally inconsistent, or entirely fabricated, including plausible-sounding but false statements about conditions, medicines, interactions, dosages and nutrition — a failure mode commonly described as "hallucination";
- may reflect biases present in their training data, including biases that affect accuracy differently across ethnicity, sex, age, body type, disability and geography;
- have no awareness of your actual state and cannot verify anything you tell them;
- may perform differently, or worse, in languages other than English.
You must not rely on any output of the Service as a substitute for professional medical judgement. Independently verify anything that matters with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on it.
2.4 Nutrition, food and allergen information
Food identification from photographs and text, nutritional estimates, meal plans, allergen tags and dietary suitability indications are estimates and may be wrong. Ingredients vary by producer, recipe, region, preparation and substitution, and change without notice.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease or any condition in which a particular ingredient is dangerous to you, do not rely on Lifepack to tell you whether a food is safe. Check the actual product packaging and ask the person who prepared the food. The consequences of an error here can be severe or fatal, and the Service cannot be your safeguard against them.
2.5 Pregnancy, fertility and cycle features
Any pregnancy, antenatal, fertility, ovulation, cycle or due-date feature is informational and approximate. It is not contraception, not a fertility treatment, not a substitute for antenatal care, and must not be relied on to achieve or avoid pregnancy or to monitor the wellbeing of a pregnancy. Attend your scheduled antenatal appointments and follow your midwife's or doctor's advice.
2.6 Medication reminders
Reminder features are a convenience and may fail — because a device is off, out of battery, in a low-power mode, has notifications disabled, has been restored from a backup, or for reasons outside our control. Do not rely on Lifepack as your only means of remembering to take medication.
3. Emergencies
Lifepack is not an emergency service and must never be used as one.
If you believe you or someone else may be experiencing a medical emergency, stop using the Service and contact your local emergency number immediately (for example 999 in the United Kingdom, 112 in Türkiye and much of Europe, 112 or 767 in Nigeria, 911 in the United States) or go to your nearest emergency department.
Do not wait for a response from Sage, from a broadcast request, or from any clinician on the platform. Response times are not guaranteed and no one may respond at all. Any emergency-related feature in the Service is a convenience for reaching clinicians who happen to be available; it is not a dispatch service, not monitored continuously, and confers no duty of rescue on us or on any clinician.
Warning signs that require emergency care include, without limitation: chest pain or pressure; difficulty breathing; sudden weakness, numbness, facial drooping or difficulty speaking; severe or uncontrolled bleeding; loss of consciousness; a seizure; severe allergic reaction; thoughts of harming yourself or another person; heavy bleeding or reduced fetal movement in pregnancy.
If you are in crisis or thinking about suicide or self-harm, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country immediately.
4. Consultations with healthcare professionals
4.1 We are a platform, not a provider
Where the Service enables you to book, message or speak with a healthcare professional ("Clinician"), the Clinician is an independent practitioner. They are not our employee, agent or partner, and we do not practise medicine, provide healthcare, or supervise or direct clinical care.
The professional relationship — including any duty of care, any clinical decision, any prescription or referral, and any resulting liability — exists between you and that Clinician, subject to their own terms and to the law and professional regulation of their jurisdiction. We are not a party to it.
4.2 What our verification does and does not mean
We take reasonable steps to check documents that Clinicians submit, such as qualifications and practising licences. These checks are administrative, not clinical. They are not a guarantee of any Clinician's competence, currency of registration, judgement, conduct, availability, insurance, or the quality or outcome of any care they provide. Documents can be forged, registration can lapse or be withdrawn after we have checked, and a properly qualified clinician can still be wrong.
You are responsible for satisfying yourself that a Clinician is appropriate for your needs, and for verifying their registration with the relevant professional regulator if that matters to you.
4.3 Telemedicine has inherent limits
A remote consultation is not a physical examination. A Clinician consulting remotely cannot palpate, auscultate, take vital signs, or perform any hands-on assessment, and depends entirely on what you describe and what a camera can show. Connection quality, audio, video and language interpretation may all degrade what is communicated. Some conditions cannot be safely assessed remotely at all.
Telemedicine is regulated differently in every territory. It is your responsibility, and the Clinician's, to ensure that a consultation is lawful where each of you is located. We make no representation that any consultation is lawful or appropriate in your jurisdiction.
4.4 Information a Clinician can see
A Clinician sees only what the Service shares with them and what you tell them. Some information you record in Lifepack is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any Clinician — see our Privacy Policy. A Clinician who cannot see something is not a Clinician who has assessed it and found it unremarkable. Tell them anything that matters.
4.5 Türkiye: we are not a health facility
We are an information-society service provider established in Türkiye. We are not a health facility (sağlık tesisi), we hold no authorisation from the Ministry of Health, and we do not ourselves provide remote health services within the meaning of the Regulation on the Provision of Remote Health Services (Official Gazette No. 31746, 10 February 2022).
What we provide is software: a directory, a booking calendar, a messaging channel and a video connection. Where a Clinician uses those tools to provide a health service, that Clinician — and, where applicable, the health facility they practise within — is responsible for holding every authorisation that service requires, and for complying with that Regulation and with all applicable rules of professional practice. Nothing in the Service is an authorisation, and our listing a Clinician is not a representation that any particular consultation is lawful where either of you is located.
4.6 Fees, cancellations and refunds
Consultation fees, where charged, are set out at the point of booking. Cancellation and refund terms are stated at the time. A consultation that does not take place because a Clinician did not attend is refundable; a consultation you do not attend may not be. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable statutory right you have as a consumer.
5. Eligibility and your account
5.1 Age
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If the age of majority or of digital consent in your country is higher, that age applies.
The Service is not directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has created an account, contact us at support@lifepack.io and we will delete it.
5.2 Accuracy
The usefulness and safety of the Service depend entirely on the accuracy of what you enter. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, to keep it current — particularly your conditions, medications and allergies — and to understand that inaccurate or omitted information will produce inaccurate output, potentially in ways that appear confident and reasonable.
5.3 Your account is yours alone
Keep your credentials confidential. Do not share your account. Do not use the Service on behalf of another person, or enter another person's health information, without their informed consent and any legal authority required. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5.4 Clinician accounts
If you register as a Clinician you additionally warrant that you hold current, unrestricted registration with the relevant professional regulator; that you hold adequate professional indemnity insurance; that you will practise within your scope of competence and within the law of every jurisdiction in which you and your patient are located; and that the documents you submit are genuine and current. You will notify us immediately if any of that ceases to be true. We may suspend or remove any Clinician at any time, with or without reason.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any regulation applicable to you;
- rely on it as a substitute for emergency care or professional medical advice;
- misrepresent your identity, qualifications or professional status;
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or that infringes another person's rights;
- upload another person's health information or identity documents without their consent;
- attempt to extract, scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile or derive the underlying models, prompts, datasets or source of the Service;
- attempt to circumvent any access control, rate limit, entitlement check or usage cap;
- probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or access data that is not yours;
- introduce malware or anything designed to disrupt the Service;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service or its output without our written permission;
- use the Service or its output to train a competing model or dataset.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section without notice.
7. Lifepack Plus and payments
7.1 Subscriptions
Lifepack Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Prices, billing periods and any introductory or trial offer are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency where the store supports it.
7.2 Billing is by the app store
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by us. Your subscription is governed by that store's terms as well as these Terms.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your store account settings, not in Lifepack. We cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
7.3 Refunds
Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policy, not by us. Nothing here limits any non-excludable statutory right you have, including any statutory cooling-off right that applies to you.
7.4 Consumers in Türkiye: right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in Türkiye, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation give you a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract.
That right does not apply to digital content supplied instantly and to services performed instantly in electronic form, where you have consented to immediate performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Article 15 of that Regulation). Lifepack Plus is supplied instantly: your entitlement unlocks the moment the store confirms your purchase. By completing a purchase you ask us to begin performance immediately and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal.
This does not affect your rights where a service is defective, nor any refund the store chooses to give under its own policy.
7.5 Fair use
Features with a metered or AI-backed cost may be subject to fair-use limits, which we will describe in the app where they apply. We may adjust limits to protect the Service, and will not do so in a way that deprives you of the substance of what you have paid for without offering a remedy.
7.6 Changes to price or features
We may change prices and the composition of Plus. Where a change affects an existing subscription, you will be notified in advance through the app or the store as that store requires, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and the Lifepack name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Your content remains yours. You grant us a licence to host, store, process, transmit and display it strictly as necessary to operate the Service for you and as described in our Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or as described in Section 12.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We specifically disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:
- any information, estimate, score, suggestion, grading or output of the Service is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for you;
- the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- any defect will be corrected;
- any Clinician will be available, will respond, or will provide care of any particular standard;
- the Service is appropriate or lawful in your jurisdiction.
We are not responsible for any decision you make, or do not make, on the basis of the Service — including any decision to seek care, to delay seeking care, to stop or start a medication, to change a diet, or to disregard advice from a qualified professional.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is so, the exclusions above apply to the fullest extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the final paragraph of Section 9:
We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages; for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings; or for any personal injury, illness, deterioration in health, misdiagnosis, missed diagnosis, delayed diagnosis, or any adverse outcome, however caused, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your reliance on anything it produces — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.
We will not be liable for the acts or omissions of any Clinician, or for the care, advice, prescription, referral or outcome of any consultation.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 100 (or its equivalent in your local currency).
You acknowledge that these limits are a reasonable allocation of risk, that they are reflected in the price of the Service (including where it is free), and that we would not provide the Service without them.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lifepack, its officers, employees and contractors against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: your breach of these Terms; your misuse of the Service; any health information you enter about another person; any content you upload; and, if you are a Clinician, any care you provide or fail to provide, any misrepresentation of your qualifications, and any breach of professional or regulatory duty.
12. Suspension, termination and your data
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practicable and lawful we will give reasonable notice.
On deletion of your account we delete or irreversibly de-identify your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Some records are retained where the law requires it or where they form part of a record that is not solely yours — for example, a clinical record of a consultation you had with a Clinician, or a report you filed about a Clinician. Where we retain such a record, we sever your identifiers from it wherever we can do so without destroying its integrity.
Sections 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 survive termination, as does any provision that by its nature is intended to.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
The Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices (Ankara Mahkemeleri ve İcra Daireleri) have jurisdiction, subject to the following, which override that clause wherever they apply:
- Consumers in Türkiye may instead apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) for the place where they live or where the transaction took place, under Law No. 6502. Nothing here limits that.
- Consumers elsewhere keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection of the country they live in, and any right that country's law gives them to bring proceedings in their local courts. A choice of Turkish law does not deprive you of a protection you could not lawfully be deprived of at home.
Before starting proceedings, please contact us at support@lifepack.io. Most issues are resolved quickly, and we will engage in good faith to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days.
14. General
Changes. We may amend these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the amended Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.
Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be, and the remainder continues in force.
No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
